Russell Greene is a Climate Emergency Activist, Poet, Strategist, Sustainability Consultant. He has devoted much of his life to this effort. He is Senior Advisor on Strategy and Climate Policy for the Progressive Democrats of America and an advisory board member of The Climate Mobilization and iMatter. He was an elected delegate for Senator Bernie Sanders, and appointed to Democratic Party Platform Committee where he forwarded his work on bringing climate emergency mobilization language into the Climate Movement.

Previously Russell was Executive Vice President of Operations Services and Sustainability for The Cheesecake Factory Restaurants and left the company in 2016 to bring his full focus to the climate emergency, devoting his leadership to organizations such as PDA and TCM as well as many others working on climate emergency efforts at the city, state and national levels.
